Gren is an extremely laid-back individual. Nothing seems to bother him, and he's a very good listener. Quiet, unassuming, and very kind, there nonetheless always seems to be sadness behind his eyes. He can't stand to see people upset, and most of the time, he will try to offer a kind smile and a few small cheerful words to someone who seems melancholy. He's the sort of person who won't even hesitate to give your the shirt off his own back, and has been known to take weary travelers back to his home, and offer his couch as a place to stay.
However, kind as Gren is, he is also rather crafty. It takes a lot to push him to the point where he needs to take up arms, but he will not hesitate to do so. His military training has granted him knowledge with many different firearms and explosives.

Gren was born to a family of salt-of-the-earth Mexican immigrants in South California. His mother and father were good people, and raised him as best they could with their bus work schedule. But as with many children in bad neighborhoods, Gren fell into a bad crowd at a fairly early age. He began dealing drugs in his neighborhood, up until he pissed off the local Crips and nearly got himself shot in a drive-by.
When his parents found out, they were devastated. They forced him to join the military as soon as he came of age. He fought in the Gulf War, and made a point to make as many companions in his unit as possible. However, he was captured by an Iraqi spy and taken to a top secret base of operations. He was forced to take part in medical experimentation, and due to the high amount of estrogen in the medicines he was forced to take, he grew breasts before he was finally rescued and honorably discharged from the military. He decided not to undergo a mastectomy, but does bind his chest daily.
He was a musician since he was young, and upon his return from the war, he settled on being a jazz musician. He wanted a quiet life, but old habits die hard. He got back into deal, though this time with military training behind him to protect himself. Rather than staying in SoCal, he moved to a college town in New York, hoping to keep himself low-profile and gather a new customer base.
